As I was sitting quietly the other day and thinking on the greatness of our God He reminded me of so many things that He has done that attests to Him being the true source of ultimate power.

For instance, our God can make the wilderness obey. He speaks to dry places and causes streams of water to appear. His love is so unselfish and magnificent that He was able to give His only son Jesus to die on the cross for the entire world. And powerful enough to raise Him back up again.

He has enough power to turn someone from living a life full of sin and change them to being sold out for Jesus Christ! He showed the children of Israel His ultimate power when He freed them from slavery and from Pharaohs’ army. When Pharaoh and his army were chasing after them God parted the Red Sea and caused His children to walk through on dry ground.

What a mighty God we serve! All throughout history and still today He has proven that He has ultimate power and authority. May we always be reminded of that very pertinent fact especially when we are facing what seems to be impossible. Our God is the God of possibilities.

Reflections

1. Which Bible stories are an encouragement to you when you’re going through something?

2. What are some of your most memorable testimonies?

3. What do you love most about God’s power?

It is our goal to bring you anointed words and services that inspire, encourage, and foster a closer relationship with the Lord. We thank God for you and want you to know that you’re always welcome at The Angelic Pen, “Where the words of heaven flow from God’s Heart to your spirit.”
