Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, many times trying to manage the stress of life can feel overwhelming, paralyzing, and discouraging.  It’s become such a part of our lives that you probably believe it’s normal.  It’s not! Learning to journal is an easy effective way to manage stress because it is a powerful form of prayer that can bring relief, peace, and a sense of victory to any challenging situation.


I’ve been a Christian for over 30 years and journaling has always been a powerful way for me to communicate with God.  Taking my stressful situations to the Lord in this manner sheds light on my concerns, and gives hope for a brighter day.  The more I began to follow the journaling process the easier it was to follow God’s instruction found in the scripture below:

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

1 Peter 5:7

Now it’s time for me to give this knowledge to you.


The biggest challenge for many to follow this instruction is learning how to cast their cares on the Lord.  Do you know how to cast your cares on the Lord?


Journaling is a real and very effective action you can take to give all of your stressful situations to the Lord, as well as experience the incredible feeling of Him taking that stress off of your shoulders.  We live in a world today that demands so much of our attention that we have to be proactive in being aware of the things that triggers stress in our families, work relationships, and ongoing activities. Then manage them successfully.
